Way Behind...

It seems like I am way behind on blogging.  We have been
keeping busy around here.  A couple of weeks ago Macey
got her new cast on.  I showed her all of the color choices and
of course she went with pink.  This one goes up to her armpit
even though it is her wrist that is broken.  On arms that small,
it hard to keep the cast from slipping.  So a full cast stays in
place better.  She has done remarkably well.  She uses her
arm for everything, including scooping her food onto her spoon,
haha!

On the same day that Macey got her new cast, I started watching my nephew
Hunter.  I just watched him for a half day that first day.  My sister is finishing
up her practicum to finish her degree and so I watch him a couple of days
a week.  Wow, I had really forgotten how hard a 2 year old and newborn
really is.  He is a super good baby though and I love getting my little newborn
fix and then his momma gets to stay up all hours of the night!  I love the shirt
that Mandy put him in for his first day here!

Macey is in love with Hunter and thinks he needs a bottle, or diaper change,
or his binky at all times.  She likes to "hold" him, but always says "baby Hunter
heavy" within 2 seconds!

My "little" brother turned 23 on the 25th.  We all met at Texas Roadhouse
to eat.  They make you sit on a saddle while they sing Happy Birthday to
you.  Cameron was fine with that as long as they let him eat his ice cream
at the same time!

We met our friends the Ecklers from Monroe City at the Mall last week.
We meet up every couple of months to shop and catch up with each other.
It's great to have so much in common with someone that you just met
through blogging!

The girls have been so cute together lately.  Macey follows Riley everywhere!
I am so glad Riley is so patient with Macey.  I know there are times where she
would rather do her own thing, but she is always so sweet to include her sister
in most things!

This weekend we went to see my brother and fiance's new house.  They
moved in a couple of weeks ago.  It is so cute and decorated really sweet!
My sister and mom met us over there too and we had pizza.  The girls
had fun playing in the guest bedroom while the boys played video games.
Hunter was happy just to hang out!

Ant then finally yesterday I took the two quietest kids to my 95 year old
grandma's house to visit for a couple of hours.  She still lives at home by
herself and gets really lonely on Sundays.  We try to always have someone in the
family visit her on those days.  She just laughed and laughed at Riley and Blake
quizzed her on the olden days!  Haha!  She was not happy with my hair color
though.  She is blatantly honest for sure.  She said my natural color was not
good for my complexion, haha!  She said I looked better as a blonde.
I love this lady through and through!

And now the blog is officially caught up!!!!!!!!!!
