Notice Anything...

Yesterday Keith took Blake to the orthodontist for what I thought were just
going to be impressions.  Keith sent me a text that they were putting on
brackets.  I guess either I or they were confused.  He was excited, but I
felt bad I hadn't prepared him.  Today he may not be as excited with as
much pain as he is in.  Poor guy!  I guess he goes back in two more weeks
and they will put more brackets on.  I think he looks very handsome and
grown up!

More Christmas...

Yesterday Grandpa and Grandma came to
our house to bring moooore presents.  The amount
of gifts our kids get is ridiculous.  They love them all
though.  Riley has been telling everyone that asks her
what she wants for Christmas (strangers included) that
all she wanted for Christmas was a gun.  You can
imagine the looks on people's faces when she said that.
I had to explain that she has two older brothers and that
she wanted some sort of nerf gun.  Grandma and Grandpa
searched high and low and found Riley a pink marshmallow
gun.  The boys got one too.  Great Grandma also came and
brought the kids gifts.

Each kid got their own whole

Christmas Day...

The kids actually surprised me and slept until
7:00 this morning.  We woke Riley up and then
the kiddos headed for the living room.
The boys were dying for Ipods.
Here they are reading a letter
from Santa that tells them how
expensive their gifts are and
how careful they have to be.

Macey walking her
new puppy

I mean she really loved
the new puppy!

Riley finally got a DS after
stealing her brother's everyday
when they were at school.

Both girls loved the new
pink kitchen

Daddy picked the
kids up new sleds
yesterday when
he was out.

All of the kids
got pillow pets.

The boys are super excited
to have their room redone.
We are doing a "hunting"
room.  They have new
camo bedding and lots
of animal heads.

New bedding

We headed to Mamaw and Papas next.  The kiddos were excited
to see their cousins.  Mamaw had some gooood food for us.  We
had to be extra careful with Papa because he had surgery on his shoulder
this week.

All of the cousins

Perfect picture!

Our cute little family

Time for more presents.

Christmas Eve...

I thought the snow yesterday was going to put
a damper on things because I wasn't sure if my
family could make it out to my house.  Gavin
was the "man" of the house while Keith was gone
plowing, and tried to shovel our driveway.  I think he
made about 4 passes and was done.

My family finally made it out around 4 and the Christmas Eve
tradition was set once again!  We had a yummy dinner of lasagna
and salad and lots of other good stuff.  Then it was present time!

Macey was just as happy to
climb on the boxes as she
was to open them!

Macey loves her
Minnie Mouse

Yeah, video games!

Gavin was thrilled to
get TWO new footballs
and some spyware.

Riley has been wanting some Dr.
dress up stuff for awhile.

Richard read "Twas
the Night Before Christmas"
like he does every year.

Grammy and Mandy

Cameron and Michelle.
Everyone had a turn trying on
the surgeon hat out of Riley's
Dr. kit.  I have lots of future blackmail
for my whole family if the need arrives.
Cameron and Michelle are looking so
tan because they just got back from
a cruise where they got engaged!
We are thrilled to welcome Michelle to
the family and I am thrilled all4 kiddos
get to be in the wedding!

Our family and Macey
is soooo big!

After everyone left, the kids got their pajamas on and sprinkled
their reindeer food on the grass.  Because of the snow, the kids
just dumped it off the sidewalk.

Boy's Holiday Party...

The boy's had a school sing-a-long today before
their parties.  Blake's class did the 12 days of
Christmas.   He is the one in the Santa hat.

Nice face.  He didn't know I
was getting ready to take his
picture.  Blake's class had a
"blizzard" party and they wore
pajamas and had ice cream with
blizzard toppings.

Gavin's class all wore red shirts and Santa hats for the song they
sang.  Gavin was super bummed that he didn't lose his top front tooth
in time to sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth".

Then Gavin's class made snowmen out of powdered doughnuts.

Over The Top...

Riley picked her and Macey's outfits to wear
out today to run errands.  We got gobs of
compliments and Riley was thrilled to be so
"fancy"!
