Mamaw and Papa's Christmas...

After we got all of gifts opened Christmas morning, we headed
to Mamaw and Papa's for lunch.

Gav looks excited about Riley's gift above, huh!  Macey was so funny when
she opened her first gift from Mamaw and Papa.  She thought the giftbag
was empty so she just threw the whole thing on the floor.  We all died laughing.
Mamaw had to pick it up and show her there were birthstone earrings in it!

Every year Mamaw and Papa get the kids a Hallmark ornament.

Melissa with the wreath I made her.  She made us the most awesome picture of our
last name.  I don't think we ever got a picture of it.  I will have to do that!
Mamaw and Papa lined all of the big kids up at the end of the gift opening and told them
they had one final gift to open.  The kids had to wait and all go at the same time.
Do you know what they got?

Taekwondo lesssons!  They were all so excited!  They get to go and try it out
for 4 weeks.

Merry Christmas 2011...

The kids woke up about 7 Christmas morning and were
all thrilled with their gifts.  Keith and I were reluctant to
get up because "Santa" had been up until 2 a.m. putting
Gavin's gift together.  Thank goodness "Santa" had put
Riley's gift together while the kids were still in school!
The kids posed for this picture Christmas eve-

All Blake wanted was a PS3 and t.v. for his room.  We were reluctant to put
a t.v. in there, but so far he can just play his game and watch movies.  He was
so happy to see that "Santa" had delivered!

Gavin got two big gifts-  an electric scooter (which I got for a steal on Black
Friday)

and this basketball game.  Let me just say that this is a huge hit with the kids.  Gav
has worn blisters on his hands from playing this so much!  A very good gift for
an energetic boy!

Miss Riley Paige only really wanted a Barbie Dream House.  She was thrilled to get it
and an MP3 player, a camera and some other stuff.

Macey got the American Girl doll swing (because Riley told Santa that's what Macey
wanted) haha!  She is hard to buy for since Riley has everything already.  Macey
is just happy this year to tear all of the paper off the gifts.  She could care less
about what was inside!

I was soooooo excited to open up my gift that said I have a new fancy camera
on order.  It is the Nikon D3100 which I am so excited to learn to use.
I am finally going to be able to take the kind of pictures I have wanted
to for a long time!

Keith is really hard to buy for.  He usually just says to buy him socks and underwear,
haha.  This year is he really into cooking and cleaning (I am not even joking) so
he got a new fryer and a Shark steam mop!

Tonight we celebrated with my side of the family.
Baby Hunter celebrated with us for the first time and
I guess it was Bella and Lance's first time too!

Winter Parties...

Before the winter parties at school on Wednesday, I went
to hear the school sing-a-long.  We have a new music teacher
so I wasn't sure what to expect.  The sing-a-long before was
so much fun with the old music teacher.  This one wasn't near
the same, but it was cute to see the little kids get excited about
singing.  Riley's class sang "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer."

Gavin's class sang a song too, but his mouth didn't move much, a little, but
not much!

After the sing-a- long, I traveled between the kid's three class parties.  Keith
was there to help me, but it is exhausting and I just feel guilty the whole time.
I wasn't at Blake's when they came back to the classroom so I didn't get
pictures of his.  Gavin kept trying to dodge the camera the whole time I was
at his.  See-

Riley's class put on a really cute skit to the book "Gingerbread Baby" and Riley
was the pig in the skit.  (She still has a pig obsession.)

After that, I helped her decorate her Gingerbread Girl.  I think she turned out
cute!

Here is Riley and her good friend Kate.  I love that there are 4 or 5 girls in Riley's
class that still wear big bows in their hair.  I am holding out hope that Riley will still let
me put them in her hair for awhile!

And, how handsome is this boy?  I atleast got a pic of him going home
from the party!  He was way excited for Christmas break to begin!
