Another year of trick or treating and we have more
candy than we know what to do with. The kids trick
or treated with Avery and Andrew again and we stopped
by my sister's house after that. The kids were worn out!

Carving Our Jack-o-Lanterns...
We got 3 of our 8 pumpkins carved last night. I think we will keep the others
uncarved. This year Blake carved his first "design". He carved a bat. He did a
really good job.
Gavin carved his first pumpkin all by himself this year. He did the triangle eyes,
nose, and jagged smile. He was quite proud of himself.
Macey was excited to get started, but quickly decided the pumpkin guts were
"YUCK". I think she even tried a taste or two off her scoop. Ewwww.
Riley was an excellent scooper of pumpkin innards. Can you tell how much
she loves her daddy in this picture?
Macey is pushing her sleeves up. She is ready to get messy.
Blake's finished bat!
Here are our finished masterpieces. They may not be the best out there, but I think it
is all about the experience and not perfection. (Are my kids not adorable?)
If you look close enough, you can see the kids smiling and posing even in the dark.
Do you think they get their pictures taken often??? =)

Mandy's Baby Shower...
I threw Mandy's baby shower this past Saturday and we
had SO much fun! Almost 30 people showed up so her house
was jam packed! I ended up taking Blake along to be my little
assistant and Riley and Bella had fun playing the whole time.
She got almost everything she registered for except for her
carseat/stroller combo and a bathtub. Baby Hunter needs to wait
just a few more weeks before he comes, but we are all ready for him then.
Mandy and my mom.
Part of Lance's side of the family-
My stepmom Karen and Sarah-
Bella had a few "big sister" gifts that she got to open. She was giving Mandy
a hug for what she and Lance got her.
I made Bella a bow holder and let me tell you, she was thrilled. She had
said one time that she liked Riley's and Macey's. She has the most genuine
appreciation for gifts of any little kid that I have ever seen.
I also made Hunter a hat holder. I have never seen one of these any where else.
I'm thinking I should sell them! =) I got him lots more stuff monogrammed with
his name on it. Can you guess that his room is going to be camo???
My sister-in-law Michelle helped me out and brought the cake. Thanks girl!
These little ones CANNOT wait for baby Hunter to arrive!

Disney Live...
What could be more fun than to go see Disney Live with
my little princess and her two cousins this weekend? The
girls had a blast! Riley wanted to dress up like Cinderella and Bella
wanted to dress up like Belle. Avery thought she was too old to
dress up but still enjoyed the show a ton! It was also Avery's
birthday so that was a bonus. The girls all sat in a trance as they
sipped on their $12 snowcones. Yes, they even bring the prices
from Disney! =)

Riley's First Kindergarten Fieldtrip...
Last Friday Riley and I headed to Bradford farms for her
first field trip. But before we went, Macey and Riley got
to play lots of fun games in the classroom.
After the games, I took Macey home for a nap and met Riley at Bradford
Farms. Poor girl got a little carsick on the bus so she didn't feel very well
for the first half of the fieldtrip. We got to go on a tractor ride to the
cornfield where we went on our first corn maze. We also got to go to a
huge field and pick our own pumpkins. We had a great time! I took Riley
home afterwards since it was late in the day so she wouldn't have to ride
the bus on the curvy road again.
Riley and her teacher and half her class. She is in the
back row on the right.
Sweet girl held my hand the whole time!

I would say that we all were having a bad hair day by the end of the trip.
