Easter 2013...

We had my family over for Easter Eve this year and went
to Keith's family for Easter Day.  That calls for two sets of
Easter outfits, right?  My family always has to do the family pictures
and cousin pictures and they just line up and do it.  Keith's family
needs a little more coercing!  ;)  Here are all of the pics of Easter
Eve and Easter day!  Enjoy (there are a lot!)

Great Wolf Lodge...

This year we were so excited to get to go to Great Wolf Lodge
for spring break.  We almost got derailed when we had reservations
for Sunday-Monday and we had a HUGE snowstorm.  So my kiddos
were heartbroken, but luckily I got it switched to Wednesday-Thursday
and we had the best time!  So much, in fact, we are going back in May!

As soon as we got there, the kids were ready to swim!  And they swam
again after we ate at the T-rex restaurant!

Macey may or may not have had nightmares after T-rex!

We also stopped at Cabelas and the Legends Mall!  I can't wait to get back there!

And just to rub it in, Blake had the gal that did tattoos in the lobby of Great
Wolf Lodge (who is a huge Jayhawk fan), put a giant black and gold tiger
print on his arm.  Go Mizzou!

St. Patrick's Day...

This year St. Patrick's Day fell on a Sunday so it wasn't
as much fun as wearing their green to school, but we still
all celebrated regardless and even got free cookies at
McAlisters for all of our green!

Fairytale Ball...

Every year the first graders perform the Fairy Tale Ball
for the school and the parents.  Riley had a speaking part and
did an excellent job.  She had it all memorized and spoke loudly
and clearly (and looked beautiful doing it!)

Basketball...

Gavin played basketball for the first time this year and we have
LOVED it!  This kid is usually the smallest, but also the scrappiest!
He has amazed us and we're hoping that he might get to continue on
and play into the summer!  He is in a competitive league of 4th graders
(even though he is in 3rd grade) and we play at the YMCA in Jeff
every Sunday.  We have played in a couple of tournaments and they
have done extremely well and got the gold medal this past weekend!

Valentine's Day 2013...

This year we didn't have any big Valentine's day plans,
but Keith really surprised us when he brought Macey, Riley
and I each home our own bouquets of flowers!  So so sweet!
Macey's face was priceless!
