Hello Santa...
We visited the Bass Pro Santa again this year. The kids
love going there to do all of the fun stuff! Blake was kind
enough to stand in the picture for me yet another year!

Macey's 3rd Birthday...
My baby turned 3 yesterday! How could that happen???
We only planned Macey's party a week and a half ago and
she decided then that she wanted a Minnie Mouse party. She
wanted the pink Minnie Mouse party stuff, I wanted red (to match
all of the Christmas decorations) so we compromised and did BOTH!
First up was opening gifts per the begging of the siblings!
Macey is so into Barney right now! She will sit and watch him as if in
a trance! She also requests buns in her hair everyday! Ha!
I know everyone thinks that Mae looks just like Riley, but I think she
and Gavin look the most alike (and definitely act the most alike! ;)
Of course Macey's mouth was irritated when she woke up the morning of
her birthday. It had been clear forever! The icing made it even worse. Aargh!
This pic below is my absolute favorite! It's the "mom, are we done yet" pose!
Hyvee pulled through once again on the cupcakes. I went in and they wanted
to put plastic rings on them to fancy them up....not quite what I was looking for!
I said that I would like a little fancier and this is what they came up with. They
are the best!
The "pin the ring on Minnie" game was a success too! Even all of the boys played
...pink blindfold and all!
I was so proud of Riley for reading each and every card to Macey. That
girl loves to read!
The party was a success and now we move on to finishing up
pottytraining...my latest to pottytrain to date! :)

November 4th, but I need to document this highly energetic
occasion, so here we are!
Gavin had a great birthday...lots of friends, family and fun!
We started off with a friend birthday party at our house and
then moved to Lazer Lanes for laser tag and video games.
The boys had a great time even though a couple of the boys
were a smidge energetic (out of control) for my taste!
The next morning on Gavin's actual birthday we opened presents
and then went to lunch at Texas Roadhouse! We surprised Gav
on the way and picked up his best friend Caden to come to lunch
with us!

Halloween 2012...
The kids looked so cute Halloween morning that first up
were pics before school. Of course Blake leaves at the crack
of dawn, so he wasn't included. :(
This year I only had two class parties to be at at once, so it was a little easier.
I was lucky that Keith showed up and helped me out anyway. Riley was so
excited about her rice krispie apple that she made (I had to bring a monstrous
batch of red rice krispie treats to her class so they could turn them into apples).

Macey preferred to hang out in Gavin's class with her buddy, Caleb.
These two have an arranged marriage whether they like it or not! :)
Gavin and his best friend Caden not only had on matching shirts, but they also
picked the same color glo-necklace and wore them in this interesting way!
After a quick trip home to change into costumes, we were back out the door to
eat dinner and then go trick or treating in the Cascades with all of our friends.
This was the first year that we let Blake go off by himself with some friends.

with this stuff all on his own!)

After we trick or treated we stopped by to see Avery (clown) and Andrew (inmate)
and to count candy as is the tradition every year!
And let's not leave out how cute our other cousins looked...Hunter the
monkey who LOVED his costume...not!
