I Scream, You Scream...

WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!!!

terrible because the
house was so hot, but
they tasted good.  We
also had home made
ice cream and every
topping you could
think of.

We then moved the party outside to the waterslide.  Macey loves to go down
as fast as she can...headfirst, feetfirst, or whatever!!!

the swingset too!

It took Bella a little while to decide to try the waterslide, but she finally did it
a few times and loved it.   Sweet girl is introduced to lots of fun things with my kids!

Next up was the ice cream cone pinata.  This pinata was jam packed full.  I
knew it wouldn't take long to bust open.

Keith kept pulling the string so Gavin couldn't get a solid hit.

The kids each got about half of a Walmart bag full.   It was a fun party, but HOT!
I like the low key kind of parties that I don't have to do a lot of work so this
one was fun for me too.  I cannot believe my Riley girl is SIX!!1

Six Years Old...

Sorry it has taken me so long to get all of this stuff
blogged, but our laptop has been getting fixed and I
was too lazy to go downstairs to do it =).

Riley had a really fun birthday this year.  Not only
did she get a new bike (which I still need to get a
picture of), but she also got to go to the American
Girl Doll store with her friend Taylor.  Because she
got both of those things early, she just got a couple
of small things on the actual day and got to go get
a mani and a pedi with her best friend Taylor.  We
went to a new place and they had the cutest chairs
for little girls.

Gavin even found a seat for a quick massage.

Riley waited all day to open her gifts since Keith had to leave early in the
morning.  First she posed with all of us even though she wanted to
rip into her presents.

this!  Messy girl!

Sometimes I cannot get over how pretty Riley is!  I know she is mine, and I
may be partial, but she is so beautiful.

After presents, we headed out to dinner with Grammy, Mandy, Bella and
Mamaw and Papa.

Riley was spoiled even more a couple of days later with a family party
at our house.  More pictures to come!!!

American Girl...

This year we decided to take Riley to the
American Girl store instead of having a big
friend party.  We went with her best friend Taylor
and Taylor's mom.  We had the best time.  The first
stop was getting Riley and Taylor's doll's hair done.

After American Girl, we grabbed lunch and shopped some more.  The girls
saw this carousel and had to ride it because it was a double decker.  They
had to ride upstairs of course!

Tomorrow my big girl turns 6!  We have a family party planned for Sunday too

Award Ceremony...

Gavin had a baseball award ceremony
last week to receive a trophy.  The coach
said such great things about Gav as a player
and I may or may not have teared up!
