We had a wonderful Halloween. We had
a deer hunter...
and a beautiful butterfly...
and a (last minute) demon...
Blake was supposed to be a
deer hunter, but I guess when
you're 9, you are supposed to
be scary!!!
and Macey who really
didn't like her costume!
There's our little bumblebee!
For the 4th or 5th year we trick or treated with the
cousins...
Then we came home and the kids changed into their jammies
and into bed!

We Have A Walker...Almost...
Today Macey started pushing Riley's shopping cart all
over the house and walking behind it. The funniest thing
is that she sticks her tongue all of the way out when
she does it. She is really fast too. She is 11 months
on Monday. I project she will be walking without
holding on by her first birthday!

still out!

School Pictures...
Here are the boy's school pictures. I was too
lazy to scan them so I just took a picture of them
and of course my flash made a blur. But you get
the idea. Gavin's turned out okay. He is usually
so photogenic so I'm not sure what happened.
Blake's turned out really good.

Halloween Party...
Today was Riley's Halloween party at school.
She was our beautiful little butterfly. There were 2
other butterflies too. Of course Riley was the cutest!:)
Riley loves her teacher Mrs.
Henley sooo much!
Riley with her
best buddy, Taylor
Best costume ever!!! This little
boy is Papa Smurf. His sister
was dressing as Smurfette.
All of the kiddos
paraded down the
sidewalk.
All of the girls
in Riley's class.

New Carseat...
Well I guess, old carseat, new cover. We
have used all of our carseats with all 4 kids,
but just replaced the cover. Macey loves sitting
in this one. She was running out of room in the
other one.

Picture Day...
A few weeks ago Riley had picture day at
preschool. I totally meant to take a picture
before she left for school and forgot. Anyway
she wore the same outfit today and looked pretty
much the same. She looks so old in these.
And someone else looked pretty cute today too!
There's that silly
smile again!

Carving Our Pumpkins...
Last night we finally carved our pumpkins. We
started this year with 13 pumpkins and are down
to 7 because they are rotting so fast. Blake carved his
own last year and this year as well. Gavin and Riley
both wanted a different design so Keith carved them
both on one pumpkin. Here is Riley's cat she drew
so Keith could carve it. :)
Pumpkin guts, the seeds had
already started sprouting
Macey hung out
in her highchair
and ate Cheerios
Blake's finished masterpiece

Macey Mae...Today...
Today the girls and I hung out at home and played
until Riley had to go to school. Macey is pulling up
on everything and sometimes barely holds on. We
brought up a John Deere tractor from downstairs
that she loves to ride on. She also loves Riley's shopping
cart. I think she will be just like Riley, girly in a lot of ways,
but also likes all the boy's stuff too!
She cracks me up with this
smile. She wrinkles her nose
up and squints her eyes!
Tonight we carved our pumpkins, so maybe I can get those
pictures up tomorrow night.

Cowboys...
Today was Gavin's last game this year for
CYFL. I have to say I tried to be a quiet
spectator this whole season, but I screamed like
a crazy woman most of the time. Gav is just
a natural at sports and was so good. He is still at
the age where they play flag football, but coach had
Gavin play quarterback ALOT and run alot of the plays.
He got a trophy today and it made his day. He had
about 9 people cheering him on today. I already
can't wait for next year's football season. Next up,
basketball. Here's Gav with his trophy (that's his mouthpiece
in his mouth).

Homecoming...
Wow, what a weekend for the Tigers!!! We didn't go
to the game, but watched from home. We let Blake stay
up and watch the whole thing, it was AWESOME! I can't
imagine what it felt like to be there and watch it all in person.
The kiddos, however, showed their team spirit and wore their
Mizzou attire. Macey started with pigtails in her hair when we
went to dinner.
By the time we got home to watch the game, Macey and
Riley both pulled out their bows!!!
Riley used her own pom poms to cheer the Tigers on.

Happy 8th, Avery...
Today was my nieces 8th birthday. Guess what she
wanted more than anything...to get her ears pierced.
She has been a little jealous that my girls got to get theirs
pierced so early. So Friday night after school was the big
day. She didn't cry and seemed really excited to finally
have them. She picked the little gold balls so of course Riley had
to have hers in.
Today we all got up bright and early for a roller skating
party for Avery at Empire Roller Rink. Keith had to
work so luckily Mamaw and Papa were there to help
with the kids.
Blake is waiting on cake
Macey hung out
with Papa and
Andrew most of
the time
