Just Because...

He is sooooo handsome.

I told Gav to get some warm p.j.s on tonight because
it was going to get kind of cool.  He's been
really wanting to wear his new flannel Tiger pants.  I
sure do love this little crazy monkey!!!

Dance Two...

Riley started Dance II today which is tap
and ballet again.  She was excited to get
brand new shiny tap shoes!  She has Miss
Candace as her teacher again this year, whom
she Looooves!  I think we got a lot of really cute
spunky little girls in our class this year!

Happy Birthday Andrew...

We went for Andrew's 5th birthday party tonight.
I am really glad my kids have cousins that they are
really close with.  They all love each other even though
they bicker like brothers and sisters most of the time.

We Have A Crawler...

For about a month now or maybe even a month and
a half, Macey has rolled, butt scooted, or crab walked
to get to where she wanted to go.  She just started the
crab walking about a week ago.  Today she started
really crawling the right way.  It is so cute.  Her little
hiney goes side to side and she really concentrates on
what she is doing.  I tried and tried to get her to look
at me and smile, but no such luck.

Happy Birthday Mamaw...

Today was Mamaw's birthday, so we took her out to eat tonight
at Lone Star.  We won't mention how old she turned!!!

My 4th Grader and 1st Grader...

The boys were up and ready to go at 7:30 this 

morning.  I heard talking in their room and opened

the door to find Blake helping Gavin with the snap

on his pants.  Anyone who knows my boys, knows

how super sweet this is.  We took tons of pictures and

got to school a little bit early.  Blake really likes his teacher

Mrs. Blackburn.  She is the mom  of a girl that Blake has

been in class with since 1st grade, so we know her pretty 

well.  He has his best buddy Bennett in his class again this year 

too.

Mr. Gavin started 1st grade today and had Mrs. Reynolds

for his teacher.  He has his best buddy Hunter in his class.

Gavin has slept until 9 or 10 every morning that he didn't have

summer school.  He requires tons of sleep.  He was yawning

in half of the pictures I took of him.

All of the big kids got new shoes for school.  I am going to 

try to teach Riley to tie her shoes hopefully soon.  Gavin

wanted the brand Pumas tennis shoes because they looked

like they were the fastest.  Riley wanted Pumas because Gavin

had them and Blake wanted his shoes because they were

comfortable.

Riley really missed Gav today.

Let's hope tomorrow goes as well as today.  I almost cry even thinking

about Riley going next year.  I am so glad I kept her home with me 

for one more year.  She will start her last year of preschool at

Countryside on September 1st.

Macey Today...

Toofers...

Macey Mae got her first and second teeth this past
weekend.  She was FUSSY!  I could not put her
down on Saturday and finally felt in her mouth and
figured out there was a tooth in there!  Then on
Monday she was the same way and I felt in her
mouth and the second one had barely come through
too.  They are still too hard to get a picture of, but
she has this new wrinkled nose smile that she keeps
doing since she got them.

Football...

Gavin has been very excited to start football this
year with Columbia Youth Football League.  We
thought we were going to get Blake to play, but
Blake decided he wanted to join Boy Scouts
instead.  So tonight was Gav's first football
practice.  He had a lot of fun and got to play with
one of his best friends Caden.  Caden's dad is
the coach.  Gav has a ball of some sort in his hands about
90 % of the time.  He wants to be able to tackle, but this
year is flag football.

second fastest runner.  This child
puts his whole heart into all sports!

something to keep her busy.

The Last Few Days...

Not much going on here lately.  We went
to the Lake again on Sunday and played in
the water.  The whole gang was there.  Here
is Johnny diving in the water.  Kevin is below
him.  He only gave Johnny a 3 for his dive.  I think
it was better than that!!!
