Goings On...

It's football season again!  Gavin is so excited to start tackle this year!  He is once
again on the Cowboys and we have our favorite Coach Tarango!

In other news, Riley decided to donate her hair again a couple of weeks ago.
I really didn't want her to this time because her hair was so pretty, but I finally
caved and figured it's just hair and it will grow back and it is for a great cause.
Her hair is so unbelievably thick that they had to put it in 6 ponytails for the
initial cut!

Riley girl also started dance yesterday and is in Jazz again.  She is in class with a
couple of her buddies and her cousin Bella.  At the end of class, Riley told Bella
what a good job she did!  She was proud of her!

First Day Of School 2012-13

I have several other posts I need to do, but want to get
this one done first.

Let's just say that I was ready for school to start this year!
Blake is a big middle schooler now and was pretty excited,
but really tired.  Middle school starts a whole hour earlier!
He is most excited about having a locker, eating a better
(although not healthier) lunch, and bringing his cell phone to
school!

Gavin, on the otherhand, was up and raring to go this morning.  He has lots
of friends in his class.  He was most excited about seeing his friends and
playing basketball at lunch.  He loves third grade so far (not too hard since
he has only been there a day!)  Gavin was allowed to get a new backpack
this year since he has had the same one since kindergarten.  We had agreed
that he could have an Under Armour backpack like Blake's.  Well, when he
saw this beauty at the Mall, he had to have it (note the sarcasm).  It is a
Realtree camo backpack.  Gav is going to set a new trend.  =)

Riley was excited about going to first grade, but also a little nervous!
She sure is happy with her momma!  She wanted to pick her own
outfit and wanted to wear her new Nikes!  Gone are the days where
she let me pick it all out.  I did get to do whatever to her hair though.
My girl is most excited about having homework in first grade!  I know,
she won't be saying that for long!!!

Little Miss Macey was lost without her siblings today, but had no trouble
finding anything and everything to talk about!  I think she figured out she could
finally get a word in!  She missed her sissy desperately though...

The Par-tay...

****Ok so I noticed I never really typed this whole post!

Riley had her birthday party this year at Authority Gymnastics
and Cheer!  That is her number 1 love right now!  The party
was easy-peasy!  I just sat back and relaxed!

So, here are the 15 pairs of Mizzou flip flops that I made as party favors.
It took me A LOT longer than I thought it would to make these!

I was so glad my niece Avery took care of Macey almost the whole time!  I got
to sit back and take pictures.

Hunter was happy to hang out in his carseat.  No cheering for my little buddy!

I told all of the girls to stop as they were going by and give me their
sassiest pose.  Miss Madison struck a pose and it was a great one!
