Memorial Day...

We had such a nice relaxing weekend.  The kids went
swimming a ton, fishing, we played baseball, went to the
parade today, and barbequed tonight.  Here are tons
of pictures of the kiddos:

I know I keep saying it,
but these two are SOOO
close!

Getting ready for
the parade to start

We forgot the kid's
sunglasses so Gavin
borrowed Mamaw's.

the parachuters.

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day too!

Let the Red, White, & Blue Begin...

Here are the girls starting with the red, white, and blue
outfits.  We have just been hanging around home mostly
while Keith does some landscaping and my family came over
today.  Tomorrow Keith will finish mulching and we will barbeque
with his family.  And Monday we will probably go to the parade.

Field Day...

Yesterday was Field Day at school.  Here is Blake sitting on the shoulder of

Tanner Mills, a kicker for the Mizzou football team.  Tanner is Blake's teacher's

brother.  To say Blake is infatuated in an understatement.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame...

Tonight we had professional pictures for t-ball.
I took my own while they were taking them.  When
we walked up the photographer asked who the cute
little girl was on the team, if she was the team mascot.
Coach Rob told him that she was a player and one heck
of a ball player.  Riley really does hold her own with all of
the boys.  Gavin is really turning out to be quite the ball
player also.  I think he will be a natural no matter what
sport he plays.

Our Day In Pictures...

Not much going on today, God knows I needed
to hang out in the air after my day yesterday.  We did
feed Macey some sweet potatoes.  By we, I mean
Riley and I.  She loves to feed Macey.  Macey was
a huge fan!

I painted Riley's fingernails and toenails.  We played outside
for a few minutes.  She was nice enough to pose for me.  She
was sporting her cuter than cute ribbon flip-flops.  A lot of
people have asked me recently if I curl Riley's hair.  Besides the
fact that I don't have near enough time for that, she wouldn't let
me get by with doing that everyday.  She has my hair exactly from
when I was a little girl only a little bit blonder.

Todays hair day for Riley
was awful.  The humidity
does nothing to our hair
but cause lots and lots of
frizz!

Back inside, Macey had lots of fun flying up in the air
on my legs.  Riley ran the camera :)

What I Did Today...

I'm in this picture somewhere.  Today I sat out in front of CPAC for 5, FIVE, yes
five hours to get Riley in dance class next year.  Did I mention 5 hours?
Did I mention it was 90 degrees and hotter than HELL?  I literally registered her
in 2 minutes once I was inside, but I did get the class and the teacher I
wanted for her.  And, thanks to the dad who brought the Trops!  That
made the day a little more refreshing!

Last Day...

Today was Riley's last day of preschool for this year
at Countryside.  I am so sad to see the school year
end, but am so thankful she gets to go back one more
year.  I LOVE this school.  There is no better in my
opinion.  I still get to keep my baby girl home with me
for one more year.  Here she is on the first day of preschool:

It was raining so I had to take her picture in the car.
Here she is today:

I can't believe how
much her hair has grown.

Monkey #2...

I knew that Macey reminded me a lot of Gavin when
I was pregnant with her.  She never stopped moving
and kicking and was active all of the time.  When she
was born I thought she looked the most like Gavin (now
she obviously is going to favor Riley) and she gripped
our fingers with her long monkey toes.  She still does that!
Gavin did everything really early or early compared to what
the other two have done things.  I think Macey is following
after him when it comes to that too.  Keith gave her Riley's
sippy cup a few weeks ago to chew on.  A second later he noticed
that she was trying to suck out of it.  Now we give her a
sippy cup with water everytime we give her cereal.  She is
5 1/2 months old and scoots all around the floor.  The other day
she had her eye on one of Riley's purses and worked her way
around until she got to it.  Lord help me if she is as energetic as Gav!

Spring Recital...

Well we have another recital under our belt.  It was a
long one, 2 hours!  Riley did fantastic.  We were so proud
of her.  She really paid attention this time and her smile
was plastered on her face the whole time.  Here is our
big dancer:

Lots of people came to watch; Grammy, Mamaw and Papa, Avery
and Andrew and of course all of us.

Macey even got all fancy!

Just because this tushie
is so cute!

Avery and Riley, don't these girls look like they could be sisters?

Big Morning...

Before 9 o'clock this morning, Gavin lost another tooth and
Macey started rolling all over the place.  Gavin pulled his own
tooth again.  The tooth fairy may go broke if we keep up at this
pace.  Little Miss Macey Mae has rolled before but kind of by
accident.  Now every time we lay her on the floor, she rolls over.
She also scoots on her belly once she gets rolled over.  She is
starting to push with her feet to try to get her toys.  Big stuff!

Happy Mother's Day...

Happy Mother's Day to my mom and my mother-in-law.  This is my
first Mother's Day as a mom to 4 kiddos.  I love each and every one
of them for different reasons, but they are honestly the best thing
that has ever happened to me.  I had three miscarriages before I
had Blake and a couple of different surgeries to get pregnant and
I thought it may never happen.  Almost 12 years later, Keith and I
have been blessed with 4 amazing and beautiful kiddos. There is not
a day that goes by that I don't smile at them, laugh with them, and
thank God for them. What a blessing it is to be their mother.  I hope
everyone else had a happy day!

Just A Swinging...

The girls had fun swinging today and  just being

Something's Missing...

Do you see what it is?

Gav lost his first tooth today.  I tried to pull it before school
but it wouldn't come out.  Gavin pulled it out himself on his
way to lunch.  He was so excited to go to the office to get
his little treasure box to put it in.  He put it under his pillow as
soon as he got home from school.  He even showed everyone
at his t-ball game tonight when he rounded the bases.  My
baby is growing up, sniff, sniff!
