This year we met my sister and her kids at the parade.
Kevin and Melissa and Andrew came too! The kids were
kind of bummed that it was too windy for the parachuters
to jump down, but got over it quickly!
All of the cousins posed for the mamarazzi-
My sweet girl and I...she is just so stinkin' sweet!
My other sweet girl and I! She is starting to be just like her brothers and not
wanting to stop and pose for pictures!
Could you not die of the cuteness of this next picture? Hunter looks like he is thinking
"so what if I suck my thumb? what you lookin' at?"
"Oh I get it Aunt Chas...you want me to smile all pretty at you!"
Bella was a little upset when she found out that they don't throw candy at this
parade. All was good once Aunt Chas pulled out the sucker stash!
Avery was at a friend's house, but Andrew was at the parade. He and Gavin
are never very far from each other.
It was a side ponytail kind of day!

5th Grade Graduation...
I can hardly believe it myself, but my oldest baby graduated from
5th grade last week. I was a mess, worrying about whether I
would start bawling and make a complete fool out of myself.
I made it to the end before I teared up.
All of the little kids wanted out of class to see Blake
graduate and even Bella came to watch. We were all so
proud of Blake and the job he has done all through his
elementary years at Rockbridge. Hands down, I could
never ask for a better school for my kiddos!
First thing in the morning he opened a card and gift
from us. The child needed nothing, but wanted his
own wood bat for a tournament he is playing in, so
he was beyond excited!
We also had to get a pic of the last day of school as a 5th grader, a second grader,
and a kindergartner. Seriously, where has the time gone???
Once we got to school, the graduation started pretty quickly. I snapped as
many of Blake's friends coming in as I could. Quinncee and Macy were first.
Taylor is such a sweet girl...
Blake and Jordan ( I thought I had more pics of friends, but I guess not. =(
Blake looked so handsome sitting during the graduation. Blue is definitely
his color!!!
Moms are so embarrassing! I couldn't help it! =)
Blake and his teacher, Miss G.
After graduation the kids went out to the pavillion for a picnic! I just love
all of the kids Blake graduated with (especially the girls). Blake and Quinncee
had to have their picture together. We can't break tradition. We will need all
of these pics for the wedding slideshow one day. =)
Blake and his class-
And no matter what, the big kids were always so nice to Riley. She loved the girls and they loved
her. She got invited to some of the same birthday parties as Blake did. They are all such sweet
kids and I will dearly miss not seeing them everyday!

Goings On...
Last week was as busy as it normally is, and so I was once
again all over the place trying to keep up with 4 kids and
their activities. Blake was the announcer for the school talent
show. He was just coming back from having the worst case of
strep throat of his life and was pretty hoarse, but ended up doing
such a good job! I have to admit at the end, when he was concluding
the show, I teared up a bit! He is growing up so fast (and he looked so
handsome)!
My sister and I also went and visited my stepbrother and his wife's new baby,
Joslyn. The big kids were in school so the little ones went to meet their
new cousin! She seems so tiny!
Joslyn looks impressed, huh?

Mother's Day 2012...
Every year I say the same thing, but I feel super blessed
each and every day that I have the sweetest, cutest, and most
lovable little beings in my life!

Diamondbacks...
Both boys played baseball again this year and coincidentally are
both on the Diamondbacks team! We are at the ball field 4-5 nights per week right now.
It makes for a very long week sometimes! Blake is playing with 11-12
year olds and Gavin is playing with 7-8 year olds and extremely
bored! We promised Gavin to play him on a competitive league
next year. Blake seems happy where he is at. Here are team
pics from the other day.
Recital Time...
This year Riley was in Intro to Jazz and loved it! She was super
excited about her tie-dye looking costumes and loved her song
"We Got The Beat". She looked precious up on stage and did
a great job!!!
