Blake's Baseball Pics...

We are so proud of Blake for completing his very first ever year of
baseball.  He did such a good job and even got to pitch a couple
of games.  We are thinking of enrolling him in baseball this fall too!

Gone...

Hallelulah the cast is GONE!!!  We can
officially celebrate summer now.  Gavin is
still using his left hand and arm for everything.
I caught him writing left handed yesterday.
Funny boy!  He says it feels tired still and funny.
I know it will take some time to build the muscle
back up.  Little man has quite the tan line to show
for it though.

Happy Father's Day...

Happy Father's Day Daddy from the
ones who love you the most!

Happy Father's Day to my dad and to my father-in-law Johnny!

Cousins...

Here are cousins that do everything together,
including breaking their arms.  Gavin gets his
cast off hopefully on Tuesday and Avery gets
her permanent cast on next week.

Big Girl Piggies...

I was looking through pictures of Riley the
other day and got some new ideas for Macey's
hair.  I had forgotten that I put Riley's hair way up
on her head with bows.  She looked just as cute (and
ornery) as Riley did when she was this age.

What Macey Mae does all
day- climb, climb, climb.

Summer School 2011...

Here are my 3 BIG kids getting ready to go
out the door for summer school-

Blake wanted his head
shaved for summer.  It
really takes some getting
used to seeing him without
his hair sticking up.

Oops, Macey
wanted in the
picture!

Riley was so excited!  I was glad , because this momma was
so sad!  We also had a little run in with a tree branch the
day before so that is why Riley's head is all scraped up.

Gavin was not happy to go to summer school because
he didn't have any friends in his class.  He also didn't
want to have to do a lot of writing with his left hand.
He was in a much better mood yesterday after school
though.  He made friends and loved his teacher.

Blake wanted to walk to class by himself so I didn't
get any pictures of him at his desk.  I was so glad
to see when I walked Riley to her room that she was
sitting right by her friend Ella.

I could not wait to head to school to pick the kids up.  I had fun
watching Riley for a few minutes through the door.  She was dancing
with all of her friends and had the biggest smile on her face.  She gave
me the biggest hug EVER!  She told us the funniest stories last night at
the dinner table about her first day.  Her teacher told me this morning
that she was so grown up acting and was so sweet to all of the kids!
So all in all, a great start to summer school!

End of The School Year...

It is hard to believe the school year is already over!
The report cards are in and both Blake and Gavin
did really well.  Both boys got the teachers for next
year that I requested for them.  It is so nice that they
tell us on the last day who they will have for next year
as a teacher and what kids will be in their classes.
Blake wanted his teacher because she is an ex Mizzou
cheerleader and he heard she has the football players
in sometimes.  The teacher that I wanted for Gav is
supposedly really good with energetic boys.  Gavin got
a huge group of friends in his class.  I hope his teacher
can handle all of them.  Gav's teacher this year went on
and on about what a kind, respectful, eager to learn child
that he was.  It makes me proud, because he is a ball of
energy at home.  Here are the boys on the first and last days
of school-
