We went to the dr. last week for Macey's 15 month check
up. We still have been having problems with the red spots by
her mouth. We have tried everything. Next we move on to
a prescription medication. We really think she has a red dye
allergy. When she eats it gets fire red around her mouth and
she acts like it itches. Hopefully we can figure it out.
Her weight was 22.2 pounds (25-50%) and her height was
37 1/2 (80%). She is tall and skinny just like Gavin was.
I was really upset to find out her ear was infected. She has
not been sleeping well, but she has been getting 3 and 4
teeth at a time. I had her checked two weeks ago when
she was unusually fussy and they said she was clear. I have
a feeling that she has been suffering for a couple of weeks.
I just about cried when they told me. She is a candidate
for tubes, so we will discuss that when we go back in two
weeks to have them rechecked. We will also have her red
spots on her face looked at again when we go back.
They asked if she knew one more word other that Mama and
Dada and I told them she knew 20-30. Lanie was amazed when
I told Macey to sing Happy Birthday and she did it. I told her that
she puts 3 and 4 words together all of the time. Gavin was my other
really early talker and knew all of his animal sounds by 12 months.
Macey is still in size 4 diapers and 12-24 month clothes. She
still thinks her brothers and sister are the funniest people in the
world and they think she is the BEST!
