The Blondies...

Last week Riley and her best buddy Taylor got
their nails done together.  These girls are two peas
in a pod.  They are also getting ready to take a
cheerleading class together.

While Riley and Taylor were getting their nails done, the
little sisters, Macey and Madison, hung out and ate lots
and lots of snacks.

Snow Day Spent Mostly Inside...

Since Keith left at 2 this morning to go start plowing snow,
we spent most of the day inside.  Our day got off to a great
start when about 9 this morning I heard Macey playing in
the dining room.  Gavin and Riley like to eat their snacks
underneath the dining room table sometimes.  It appears
they forgot to put their snack away when they were done.

It looked like
the box had
explooded!

And what better way to spend the day than to play dress up
with your sister?  While the boys were out playing with the neighbors,
the girls were inside "getting beautiful".

And of course the IPODs are still huge hits with the boys.

And has everyone been watching the last couple of nights
of American Idol?  Since Keith was still going to be out
plowing snow late tonight, the kids and I got our jammies
on and watched American Idol.  Let me just say, I may have
teared up 1 or 7 times at some of the people's stories.

What A Day...

Today the nurse at school called me and said
"Don't worry, but........" and there was this huge
pause and then she tells me Gavin is in the office with
a temp. and headache and stomachache.  He was
acting like a wild monkey before school this morning.
So we went and picked him up, came home, gave him
motrin and he was back to normal in twenty minutes.
What the heck.  He had done the exact same thing this
past Saturday.  Must be a virus.

Then tonight the kids were all playing and Macey pulled
the new kitchen over on herself.  This baby never cries, but
she let out a a squeal tonight.  Poor baby has a purple
goose egg on her forehead now.  I tried to get a picture of
it, but she wouldn't hold still.

Sledding...

Today one of our neighbors called and asked
if she could use our hill in our backyard to sled.
She also asked if she could send a mass email to all
of the neighbors to invite them.  So in the end we had
13 kids sledding plus a couple moms.  Our backyard
was full.  We have the best hill in the neighborhood
unless the lake is frozen solid, then there is a pretty good
one that goes onto it.  Afterwards my neighbor invited ALLL
 of the kids back to her house and made hot chocolate, popcorn,
and other snacks for everybody.  She is waaay nicer than I am to
have all of those wet and messy kids in her house.

They kids had a blast.  I'm not sure how they didn't freeze to death.  It was
freezing.  Looks like they get a redo tomorrow.  No school again!

First Sleepover...

Gavin and Blake both had birthday parties
today.  BUT, Gavin got to go to his first
sleepover after his party was over with
one of his best friends Caden.  He has been
super excited for over a week now, but was
kind enough to give me hugs and tell me he
loved me before he went.  I know he is in good
hands and loves going to his football coach's
house.

Today Riley was the leader at school.  She
was so excited and wanted to be extra fancy.
