out the door for summer school-
Blake wanted his head
shaved for summer. It
really takes some getting
used to seeing him without
his hair sticking up.

Riley was so excited! I was glad , because this momma was
so sad! We also had a little run in with a tree branch the
day before so that is why Riley's head is all scraped up.
Gavin was not happy to go to summer school because
he didn't have any friends in his class. He also didn't
want to have to do a lot of writing with his left hand.
He was in a much better mood yesterday after school
though. He made friends and loved his teacher.
Blake wanted to walk to class by himself so I didn't
get any pictures of him at his desk. I was so glad
to see when I walked Riley to her room that she was
sitting right by her friend Ella.
I could not wait to head to school to pick the kids up. I had fun
watching Riley for a few minutes through the door. She was dancing
with all of her friends and had the biggest smile on her face. She gave
me the biggest hug EVER! She told us the funniest stories last night at
the dinner table about her first day. Her teacher told me this morning
that she was so grown up acting and was so sweet to all of the kids!
So all in all, a great start to summer school!
