seven in the morning. Since I had heard this was
a quick procedure, Keith and I decided I would take
her by myself and he would stay home with the other
three and get them to school. Mamaw ended up
meeting me at the Surgery Center and I am so
glad she did. She was such a big help mostly
with carrying all of my stuff. I may or may not have
teared up when the nurse took Macey from me back
into the operating room. Luckily it is like a 15 minute
procedure and Dr. Campbell was out in the waiting
room very quickly. They don't even do an I.V.
with tubes and so I could go back as soon as she woke
up. When I went back they said she had cried for a second
and they gave her her pacifier and she was fine. The nurse
had her on her lap and was all snuggled up to her. She
reached for me as soon as she saw me though. We only set
there 5 minutes and they let us go home. Macey took a good
2 hour nap once we were home and ate really well too. I
really hope this takes care of her ear infections for a very
long time!
Dr. Campbell said
even her bow stayed in
place during surgery.
