Today we had one of the funnest birthday parties ever!
Blake decided he wanted to invite his class to Empire Roller
Rink for his birthday. They have a youth skate from 9-11 which
is for kids 10 and under. It was a ball! The parents could skate too.
I skated, Keith's parents skated, my sister in law and brother in law and all
of the kids. Riley did surprisingly well. She used these little plastic skates
that basically she could just walk in. Gavin on the other hand had lots of
trouble. He couldn't really do the regular skates and his feet would barely
fit in the plastic ones so they kept falling off. He gave everyone quite the
workout when they took him out. AND guess what! Blake wanted me to
do the limbo with him. So I did. Mind you I haven't skated for a very long
time. I went under a couple of times. I could see everyone taking my picture.
Well it got to the level where I knew I would have to squat down as low as
I could to make it. I made it under, and then couldn't get back up and FELL!
The man blew the whistle at me and I had to go out. Riley lasted quite a while
after I left because she was so little. I had the greatest time and Blake did too,
just hoping we aren't too sore tomorrow.

She never strayed far from the

Keith's job during the party
was to keep Macey happy.

Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins were there too, but the person in
charge of my camera didn't get their picture :)
