She weighed in at 10 pounds 1 ounce. That is 75-90th percentile.
She was 21 1/2 inches long, which is 75th percentile. She still has
long skinny legs and arms. I'd say all of her chunkiness is in her cheeks!!!
Dr. Beal said she looked perfect and to keep up with what
we are doing. He even said that our nighttime routine was fine.
You see, Macey will only sleep at night in her carseat with a lamp
shining down on her. If it is dark she keeps her eyes open and looks
around. Keith bought a desk lamp that he clipped on the side of the
crib. The carseat sits down in the crib, we have it down to a science.
She is sleeping 4-5 hours already at night. We are so tired that we don't
even care that the lamp is on. When you are that exhausted, you get a little
desperate! I have to admit, she has been a really easy baby, and we love
her to pieces!
Oh yeah, I walked Gavin into his classroom this morning. His teacher
said she asked all of the kids yesterday what their favorite Christmas gift
was. Gavin said his new baby sister was his favorite present. Awwww.
We let all of our kids sleep in their carseat for the first 8-10 weeks...works like a charm!
ReplyDeleteI say whatever works! I'm not ready for my sleepless nights...but yet again when I get up to go to the bathroom and can't sleep, I feel like I already have a newborn! Cutie patootie!
