Blake's 12th Birthday...

Can you believe it?  I have a 12 year old!  Blake had school
on his birthday and lunch with your middle schooler is frowned
upon, so I brought lunch for Blake to eat with his friends and left.
That night we ate with the family (where the older three all got food poisoning and were up ALL night)
and Blake opened gifts.  He wanted
an IPAD for his birthday and I told him it was a possibility if he didn't
have a huge party.  So....he got an IPAD and a few friends to stay the night
and we were all good!  Really, really easy!

And about the only way I can love on my boy is a SNEAK ATTACK!

These Kids Have Style...

I want to remember this lovely fad that is in right now with the black socks
pulled up to the knees for the boys!  Blake leaves so early in the morning, that
he never gets to participate in the morning photo shoots!  You know he is sad
about that!  ;)  I also think it is so cute that Macey does everything her big
sister does, no matter what!  I love these crazy kids!

Let It Snow...

I finally broke my new camera out of the box and decided
to take some pics of the kids sledding.  In the country, we
sled a little differently than most...it usually involves a four
wheeler or three!  Macey even got to go this year, but was
happier to ride with Daddy.  It was COLD!

She was not happy at first...I had her so bundled she could barely move!

"Wow, this stuff is bright!"

Crazy Gav.  I made him zip his coat up as soon as this was taken!

Christmas Day 2012...

The kids were up early again this year, but not as early as
some households, thank goodness!  I think they made it until
7 before they couldn't contain themselves any longer!  Blake's big item
that he wanted was Beats, Gavin got a tetherball pole, Riley got and IPOD
touch and McKenna, and Macey got a leapfrog something or other and Kit
(which is all she's been asking for, but now only plays with Riley's Bitty Baby!)
I finally joined the rest of the living and got a Nikon D3100 which is a DSLR
camera.  Taking pics of my kids is my passion, so I am glad I can finally
do a little better job!  All Keith ever wants is socks and underwear!  ;)

Shortly after we opened gifts we headed to Mamaw and Papa's house for
lunch and MORE presents!  Like they needed anything else...:)

Another Christmas success and down in the memory book!
